FAQ

Do you have a studio?

The majority of my sessions are done in natural relaxed settings such as in the comfort of your own home or the beautiful outdoors. My new cosy in home studio will be ready to welcome small families soon.

What happens if it rains?

I am a photographer in the UK, I'm not afraid of a little drizzle, beautiful photos can still be captured in the rain or on overcast days. Your shoot will go ahead unless it is forecast heavy or consistent rain. I do however keep some slots available if we need to reschedule.

Do we need to feed you when you're photographer for our wedding?

That would be very much appreciated. I will be on my feet and working hard all day, however it is not compulsory. I will however have to take a break to have something to eat and drink at some point.

Will you provide the Raw Photos/Files?

Sorry I will not provide any Raw images. You will receive the beautiful finalised work.

What should I wear?

This depends on the type of photoshoot you are having, the weather/temperature etc. I do recommend that for family photoshoots you try to stick to neutral colours and/or try to coordinate. I recommend no big character items, big branded logos, distracting clothing, you want your photos to be timeless and what you wear can make a huge difference on how your images look.

I have a client wardrobe of Maternity /motherhood items you are welcome to use if suitable. You are also welcome to wear any maternity/photoshoot items/dresses of your own choice.

I can provide styling advice upon request and give advice on colour palettes to enhance the look and feel of your images.

Do you keep a copy of all images?

Although I generally keep copies, I cannot guarantee that I will still have a copy of your images in the future. I therefore highly recommend you back your own images up.

Will you travel?

I cover Gloucestershire and surrounding areas. I am based near Prestbury in Cheltenham and anything over 10 miles is charged at just an extra 45p per mile. This will differ for big events and weddings I am able to travel further so please send me a message to discuss.

How long does it take to get my images?

I will sometimes provide a sneak peek. This will be posted on my social media if you are happy for me to use your images (please be aware the quality can be compressed for this image!) My lead time for your final gallery is 4-6 weeks during busier seasons, however I do try and get them to you as soon as possible though! Weddings and larger events will differ to this.

Who owns the copyright to the images?

Pausing Time Photography owns the copyright to all images provided but when purchased you have permission to print and share the images for personal use. Without purchasing the images you are in breach of copyright if you copy/screenshot any images or edit in anyway including removing watermarks etc. Copyright infringement will be taken seriously and any breach of copyright will be charged at £100 per image.

Can I edit the images?

Pausing Time Photography owns the copyright to all images provided. You have permission and licence to share and print images once purchased for personal use. I ask that you do not edit the images in anyway including adding filters etc. If you want me to tweak the images prior to purchasing (eg make them warmer, cooler) then please contact me prior to downloading. Thank you

Can I get prints from you?

Yes! When you view your online gallery you will have the option to purchase prints in the store section.

Do you make body adjustments in editing?

Generally I will say if its a permanent feature of you and what you look like then I do not change it eg making nose smaller etc. However I can of course edit out non permanent features such as if you have a pimple that day, or a bruise on a childs knee.
