My longer-form documentary sessions are designed to capture your family exactly as you are. No posing. No pressure. Just your story, told with heart.

What is a Documentary style session?


A documentary session is a relaxed, unposed photography experience where I simply follow your family’s rhythm. Rather than directing you or setting up moments, I quietly observe and photograph the natural connections, routines and interactions that make your family uniquely yours.


Think of it as your everyday life but beautifully documented.


These sessions are perfect for families who want authentic, meaningful images that go beyond the “everyone smile at the camera” shot. They capture personality, relationships, and the kind of moments you’ll look back on years from now and truly feel.


Longer sessions allow stories to unfold naturally. Children relax, adults forget the camera is there, and real life continues without interruption. The more time we have together, the more genuine the photographs will be. A relaxed, unhurried experience, a space for natural emotion laughter, cuddles, meltdowns and calm moments… all the things that truly matter.

A Day in the Life


A relaxed, unposed photography experience capturing your family as you truly are. This longer session allows your story to unfold naturally, giving space for genuine connection, everyday routines, and the small moments that make up your world.


What’s Included:

A longer-form documentary session (approx. 6 hours ) in your home or a meaningful location


A personalised questionnaire for you to complete ahead of your session.


A storytelling gallery of natural, heartfelt images as high resolution digital files.


All images available for you to download (anticipate 200+ images)


Travel within 20 miles of GL52 Prestbury (option to add extra travel)


This session is perfect for families who want images that feel like memories — warm, honest and full of personality.


Investment: £750.00

A documentary session is an investment in your family’s story — the unscripted moments you’ll never get back.

A non-refundable £250.00 retainer is required to secure your date, with the remaining balance due a week before your session.



A Slice of Life


A Slice of Life session is a shorter, heartfelt documentary experience designed to capture one meaningful part of your day.


In just 2-3 hours we will document a real moment of your everyday life - playing in the garden, reading stories, baking together or simply just enjoying being at home. No poses, no pressure, just genuine connection and real moments.


What’s Included:

A shorter documentary session (approx. 2-3 hours ) in your home or a meaningful location


A personalised questionnaire for you to complete ahead of your session.


A storytelling gallery of natural, heartfelt images as high resolution digital files.


All images available for you to download (anticipate around 100 images)


Travel within 20 miles of GL52 Prestbury (option to add extra travel)


It's perfect for families that love the idea of a natural unposed photography session but don't need the full-length session.


Investment: £450.00

A non-refundable £250.00 retainer is required to secure your date, with the remaining balance due a week before your session.
